Hi: i am interested in building a 13-1/2 to 15ft long jet sprint boat for playing in rivers and lakes with my son. i am considering building the boat myself and am wondering if there is somewhere that i can get a set of plans for a good boat ?. Have you ever wanted to make your own boat, cheap and fast? well now you can. so this is what i've been working on for the last couple of weeks. this is a 3,6 m long boat, with a beam of 1,8 . i. Jet unit: scott 8.5″ complete with trailer, and chrome-moly roll cage, 5-point harness boat is a podium winning boat in the group a 400 class. #2 group a 2016.

So what is it that you like from us? boat design has minimum engineering requirements which changes depending on the boat and size. the problem with a 6 to 7 foot hull and using a jet drive power plant is the deadweight of the power unit and then the propulsion portion of the unit which is the pumping mechanism.. 1/4 jet sprint hull design (1000mm) attached are some pics with dimensions of a version of a jet sprint hull i am planning to build for my 26cy and tuned pipe. any recommendations on the hull design or pipe tuning for jet drives would be greatly appreciated..
