I've designed my sink area to be a bit lower than the other counters to help collect water that is bound to splash between my sinks. The other day I began cutting holes for the sinks. As I cut the holes I had to stand on the counter to reach the back corner-- there was plenty of self-talk going on to be sure I did not go crashing through the newly cut holes!
Looking through the holes in the counter, you can catch a glimpse of the two sinks I planned to have welded together. I took the sinks to the welder and he suggested just pop riveting them together. Said welding would warp the shape and cause them to rush much faster.
Since we have a rivet gun, I took his advice and now I have a custom riveted sink. Not the look I was going for, but it's done!
